Raised by Lavarcham to be the queen of Conchubor, Deirdre resists her fate and instead chooses to elope with Naisi, igniting a series of events that lead to conflict and exile for Ulster's greatest warriors. The unfinished work was later completed by William Butler Yeats and Molly Allgood, capturing the themes of love, destiny, and sacrifice in a rich cultural narrative.
