A man grappling with terminal illness finds himself on a deserted beach, where a mysterious woman shares the story of Dwynwen, a fifth-century maid who chose solitude over betrayal. As Dwynwen and her nurse confront their past, they invite the man to reflect on love and connection. Through their interactions, he begins to discover the importance of human relationships, offering him hope and strength in his darkest moments. The narrative intertwines themes of love, loss, and redemption through the experiences of three women and one man.
