Collective Amnesia

Focusing on the historical treatment of African Americans since 1619, this study delves into the realities of racism and white supremacy, challenging popular myths surrounding the Civil War and its aftermath. Enhanced with tables, photographs, maps, and charts, it presents a clear narrative of systemic oppression. The work's relevance is heightened by the 400th anniversary of African Americans in North America in 2019 and the ongoing issues of racism in contemporary society, particularly under current political influences.
