The Story of My Disappearance

Haunted by his violent past as a former East German Stasi member, Paul Wedekind's life as a fisherman in Rhode Island is disrupted when he encounters a woman who alters his path. Having been a prisoner in Afghanistan, his journey takes a new turn when he is sent to America as a KGB contact. Together with another exile, they must summon the courage to defy the controlling forces of their pasts, exploring themes of identity, freedom, and resilience in the face of oppression.
