The Last Witch in Edinburgh

Set in an alternate 1824 Edinburgh, the narrative follows Nellie Duncan, who discovers empowerment and community at the Rae Women's Apothecary amidst the threat of witchcraft accusations. As she learns about nature-based magic and embraces her identity, she develops a romance with Jean Rae. However, an ancient enemy seeks to undermine the Cailleach and her witches, leading to tragedy. After centuries of hiding, Nellie returns to confront her past and rally others against patriarchal oppression, determined to reclaim her power and purpose.
