Focusing on juvenile biographies of women, this study analyzes the portrayal of Elizabeth Tudor in literature aimed at young readers from 1852 to 2002. Author Gale Eaton examines thirty-four works, including biographies and histories, to identify trends in content and rhetoric. The exploration highlights how these narratives shape young readers' understanding of historical figures, emphasizing the genre's role in education and representation.
