Set against a backdrop of modern-day America, the story follows Rosette, a college journalism student who becomes embroiled in a mission to thwart a terrorist plot. While covering a protest, she encounters the Paladin, a supernatural hero from the eighth century. Teaming up with a Muslim lawyer from a secret organization, Rosette takes on the dual roles of public relations director and squire. Together, this diverse trio navigates challenges to combat evil and adapt their unique backgrounds to introduce the Paladin to contemporary society.
