A Painted Ship

Set against the backdrop of a serene fishing village in Cornwall during June 1923, the story follows Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Ford as he embarks on his honeymoon with his wife, Victoria. Their romantic getaway is disrupted when the body of Lord Clarence Danglars Pengriffon is found in a fishing net, marking the village's first murder in two decades.
