Fleeing with her grandfather to a secluded cabin in Northern Italy, she finds solace in her music despite the absence of her piano. As she adapts to her new life, the bond with her grandfather and her small dog, Minnie, provides comfort. Tragedy strikes when her grandfather passes away, leaving Susanna to confront the challenges of survival and solitude in a foreign land.
