Their efforts are jeopardized when Ikarino, the company funding their activities, transforms into a powerful conglomerate that threatens the natural environment essential to their way of life. Hayami becomes entwined in the group's fight against this corporate destruction, highlighting themes of environmentalism and cultural preservation.
