With only a bag of belongings and a few contacts, he embarks on an adventure along historic Route 66 to California. As he hitchhikes through stunning landscapes, Ed encounters a variety of fellow travelers and immerses himself in the vibrant culture of the road, reflecting on the journeys of past migrants and the spirit of the beat generation.
