Fertilizer values of organic amendments in Tunisia

Focusing on soil fertility, this work investigates the mineralisation dynamics of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium through various treatments: farmyard manure (from cattle and sheep), compost, and poultry droppings. It reveals that compost enhances nitrogen mineralisation most effectively, while all amendments significantly boost phosphorus and potassium levels in the soil. The effectiveness of each treatment varies based on the soil's chemical and biological properties, with compost consistently providing the highest levels of available nutrients.
