Set in AD 30, the narrative follows five women who gather in the early morning to fulfill a vital yet somber duty. Amidst the bustling streets of the Roman Empire's largest city, they aim to honor their deceased Rabbi by completing a burial ritual that was overlooked in the haste of his entombment. Two women are relatives of the Rabbi, while the others have been healed by him, highlighting their deep connection to his legacy and the significance of their mission.
