Shashtah is determined to save his new Dragon, Tphah, from a fate similar to his first Dragon's demise. He believes that completing "The Training" ritual at the Anvil will ensure their survival. However, he faces challenges with the inexperienced new Dragonlord, Kashon, who struggles to train such an extraordinary Pair. Complicating matters, Kashon’s magical abilities stem from the Wizards of Corin rather than the traditional Dumnonian methods, adding tension to their already precarious situation.
