It explores the dynamics between the Hindu/Christian 'self' and the Muslim 'other', examining the implications of forced state annexation and significant political changes since the 2000s. By analyzing both commonalities and differences, the paper sheds light on the complex interplay between gender, religion, and nationalism in these regions.
