Meer over het boek
Excerpt from Voyages From Montreal, on the River St. Laurence, Through the Continent of North America to the Frozen and Pacific Oceans, in the Years 1789 and 1793 ON presenting this Volume to my Country, it is not necessary to enter into a particular account of those voyages whose journals form the principal part of it, as they will be found, I trust, to explain themselves. It appears, however, to be a duty, which the Public have a right to expect from me, to state the reasons which have influenced me in delay ing the publication of them. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.
