When Swift first encountered The Establishment, working with the British Government in exile seemed like a fine idea. But their first joint mission has stranded the Authority's most powerful fighter behind an exotic distortion field in the Suffolk Fenlands. Meanwhile, other teammates have their own battles to fight: Jack Hawksmoor may have regained his sense of purpose after his encounter with Jackson King of StormWatch, but he's still the ruined king of a ruined city.
