In the distant future, far into the Neon Millennium, the past begins to resolve. Humanity struggles, as calamity and peril destroyed the planet during the Age of the Returners, and now only survives in one last remaining city; the city under glass. Paragon controls the population with guile and tyranny, using technology to maintain a docile citystate; however, Alpha, their elite deletion agent, begins to uncover more about his past than they anticipate. As his origins begin to unravel the corporation's evil intentions, he must fight to protect this secret knowledge and try to save himself and his newfound love from the enforcers he once worked with.
