A young woman leaves Montreal with her son of 3 to teach on a reservation in 1995, the same year as the referendum on Sovereignty in Quebec. She is in search of a life away from consumerism, noise and hypocrisy. Her situation becomes increasingly difficult when faced with the cultural challenges and isolation. But the lessons learned will make her stronger.
