Renowned researcher Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin’s blog has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from over 174 countries. The late Shaykh Nazim Al Qubrusi referred to him as “one of the closer ones to Mahdi (alaihi salam).” Sayyid emphasizes the exalted rank of the Twelve Imams of Ahl al-Bayt, stating, “According to the Hadith of Jibrīl, the Messenger of Allah defined his religion as Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. This Hadith indicates that Ihsan is one-third of the faith of Islam. Unlike those who reject Tasawwuf, Ahlus Sunnah acknowledges that the path to experiencing Maqam al-Ihsan is through Tasawwuf, commonly known as Sufism today. Based on the teachings of prominent Sufi leaders like Shaykh al-Akbar Muhiyuddin Ibn Arabi and Jalaluddin Rumi, the Twelve Imams (may Allah be pleased with them) are the Qutbul-Aqtab of Tasawwuf, the highest-ranking Saints under whose guidance every Wali attains Wiliyah. They enable Muslims to approach or even reach the state of Ihsan. Without the Imams, there is no Tasawwuf, and without Tasawwuf, there is no Ihsan. Since Ihsan constitutes one-third of faith, belief in the Twelve Imams is, therefore, integral to faith itself!”
