Edison Reid is an angry teenager struggling to find his identity in a world full of false pretenses and mixed messages. He is not popular, nor is he particularly interested in the typical activities of his high school classmates: football, cheerleading, or planning for college. All he really wants is to graduate and get on with his life. Yet, he is tormented by his peers as society bombards him with messages of anger and hate. Eventually, he succumbs to his emotions and takes matters into his own hands by stealing his father's gun and unleashing his frustrations.
