Bruce Hurwitz lived in Israel for over 13 years. During that time, he interacted with hundreds of Americans and Canadians who had decided to permanently move there. In this book, he reflects on their motivations which, unlike those of Jews from other countries, were personal in nature, not ideological. His aim is to educate parents regarding the ramifications of their behavior and to fortify the will of children in distress.
