Two photographers, once friends, become adversaries as the denouement of WWII reveals true colors. On the eve of D-Day a chance exposure across the Portsmouth Naval Yard propels them from the Normandy Beaches and into a chase the breadth of Britain to recapture images capable of changing the course of history. Boats, planes, submarines and classic vehicles convey the players between iconic locations as trade craft deceives and misdirects until an assassination at a famous London hotel settles the score.
