A young girl leaves home after her father dies and runs into an acquaintance from her past that she wants nothing to do with, but he keeps following her from place to place. JoAnn meets a lot of interesting people along the way with a few love interests, that he soon takes care of. With their deaths, JoAnn decides she can never get close to anyone again. But how long will that decision last? Running from town to town, JoAnn runs to one that is being taken over by a crime Lord who doesn't like her helping one of his victims get back on his feet. And her life takes a drastic turn.
