What's so special about the scarlet telephone? It's not its brilliant color, nor its evocative shape, but rather the fact that it allows you to speak directly with the great hereafter. Now, that doesn't mean that you can simply call the great hereafter whenever you feel like it. Quite the contrary. This peculiar-looking apparatus merely allows you to be contacted from on high (or is it from down low?), and with requests that are sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to turn down.
