This book is for those of us who lose our hearing aids, wallet, and car keys…regularly. Much of it is written in bite size stories, memoirs, rants, and essays that stand on their own. It’s about a village in Ireland and a visit home to the Irish speaking Gaelic area after 40 years in America. It’s about a housing project in America where I grew up. It’s about race, police, sacrifice, drink, and failure, it’s about humor, love, and success. It’s about lessons learned.
