When a planet comes closer to Sun, more than a safer distance to be maintained, such planet may become weaker as Sun may burn out some of its strength. Such planet that loses some of its strength by virtue of being too close to Sun is called a combust planet. It means when such planet happens to be Moon, it is called combust Moon. Such combination of Sun and combust Moon can produce a wide variety of results in various houses of horoscope, depending on benefic/malefic nature of these two planets, their signs as well as nakshatras of placements, and on the overall theme of the horoscope under consideration. This book deals with the placements of combust Moon in the 7th, 8th and 9th houses of horoscope.
