"Passion and Grace" is a collection of poems and photographs by Gordon Kreplin, a classical guitarist and photographer. It is an unforgettable book about revelation, discovery of self, of others, of beauty seen and unseen, and of grace and compassion. The book was masterfully written with some structure but not a formal presentation by chapter and verse. It is meant for the reader to wander a bit with no real agenda other than embracing a view of the world as reflected in life experience. For the author, this revelation has been comprised of many endings that are beginnings. Life and love are random. As a practicing Benedictine oblate, Gordon believes we must reach out and touch beauty while we can and allow that beauty to embrace us in return. His intent for this collection is to share an experience of beauty within an eternal presence that unites us all in one body. For him, there is a master carpenter whose design is a part of his heart's journey.
