The Miao ethnic minority village of Wuying is located deep in the Miao Mountains on the border of Rongshui Miao Autonomous County in Liuzhou, Guangxi and Congjiang County in Guizhou. During the three years he spent there, Xinhua photojournalist Huang Xiaobang became deeply involved in the life and work of the village, including the fight against poverty.
