My Grandma is a Butterfly was placed on my heart to help children understand the struggles their grandparents face when fighting Dementia. I remember when my own mother, Carolyn Ruth Irene Smith Corlew, was fighting against Dementia. My children, nephews, and nieces struggled to understand the challenges that she confronted. My mother lost her fight with Dementia in 2016.
