The Inconvenience of You

This book of poetry is a gripping rollercoaster of emotions. The words reflect certain spaces in time I have occupied since I first discovered "Love". My hope is that through sharing where I was, I can help others that have been Inconvenienced rediscover self, appreciate their heart, and find the bravery to keep searching for the perfect love. I journaled and prayed to be brave enough to send my heart out into the universe in written form. My only wish was for something beautiful to come back to me. These words were authored along my journey of self-discovery. There was a point as I travelled through the nuances of love and relationships where I thought I lost me, and I had to find her again. Poetry nurtured that and was (is) my therapy. Love was not the only thing that contributed to the growth in my womanhood, heart break developed me as well. I still believe that love is one of the most important elements of our lives. I finished this book two years ago, I just never felt like it was complete. But it is, and here I present to you in its glory, the words of my heart, the emotions of my past, and the freedom writing this book has brought me. Thank you for sharing in my journey.
