This book represents a personal cleansing journey, crafted in my own words and on my own terms. When I penned these poems, I had no idea how significantly they would aid my recovery from years of alcohol and drug use. I celebrate the wonder of each day! Each evolution reflects my growing awareness of my passion and purpose, nurturing my self-acceptance, self-care, and self-love. Rhonda Williams, born and raised in New York City, attended school on the upper west side. After high school, she worked as a telephone operator for various telecommunication companies and ventured into home-based businesses. As a Reiki Practitioner, she explores spiritual classes, workshops, and New Age teachings. Rhonda's commitment to transformational education continues to evolve as she embraces her journey toward becoming a restorational speaker. In Spring 2020, the pandemic prompted her retirement from a 30-year telecommunications career, allowing her to pursue her passions as a poet, author, singer, songwriter, and spiritual agent. She aims to share her stories of inspiration and healing through various platforms. "Release to Receive" emphasizes the importance of letting go of the past to achieve one's beliefs. It encourages embracing growth and expressing gratitude through prayer, reminding us to celebrate our journey and the energy of positivity.
