In this first book, Sitting Rock meets, Tóota Yót, a rock that only he can communicate with. Sitting Rock and Tóota Yót become friends. Tóota Yót teaches Sitting Rock how to hunt and encourages him to be brave. Tóota Yót tells Sitting Rock that change is coming.
