Allan Kaprow

Allan Kaprow (1927-2006) founded the art form of the happening at the end of the 1950s. His environments are considered as milestones in recent art history. However, he began his artistic career as a painter. This publication focuses for the first time on the paintings created between 1946 and 1957. The pictorial spaces are burst open.
