Endodontic treatment today is far different from what we practiced decade or two ago, not only in techniques and procedures but also in the types of patient seen. Owing to the advances in medical science, people are living longer & receiving medical treatment for disorders that were fatal earlier. Due to Alarming increase in the number of patients requiring Surgical & Non-surgical Endodontic treatment, the dentist must remain knowledgeable about patients medical conditions, as they necessitate alterations in the provision of Endodontic Treatment though not contraindicating the treatment. These modifications can be divided into preoperative, intra-operative & post-operative modifications.
