Photographer Lâm Duc Hiên, who grew up along the banks of the Mekong, follows this mythical river upstream from the delta in Vietnam, through Cambodia and Laos, to its sources in Tibet. His photographs, accompanied by text from Philippe Franchini, take readers on a captivating journey along the river, showcasing breathtaking landscapes and familiarizing them with the daily lives of the people who inhabit this majestic waterway.
