"I will make you famous" the fashion photographer Nik says, to the 15-year-old Amerlie. She begins to dream: Maybe she can even become a supermodel! Against the wishes of her parents, Amelie follows her dreams and moves to Zurich. In the first mail to her sister, she writes: "Please tell mom and dad that they can stop worrying. Tell them, that when the contest is over, I'm coming home again, I'm coming home. And then I'll go back to school. Okay? Lots of kisses from your little sister, who may soon become famous!" Soon, Amelie learns how hard the working with fashion and beauty really is.
