Ulysses is James Joyce's magnum. It is a true work of art, regarded as the most important book ever written in English. And yet because of its challenging structure, the vast majority of people who attempt to read it quit before reaching the third chapter. Now Robert Gogan has remastered the book, adding in punctuation and paragraph breaks to help distinguish between the narrative and Bloom's inner monologues. He has restored all of Joyce's original text, much of which has been abridged in past printings, to ensure that this edition remains true to Joyce's original intent.
