The Role of Authentic Materials in Raising ESP Learners' Awareness

Focusing on enhancing language proficiency in a business context, this work details an action research conducted in three phases for students at the Preparatory School of Economics and Commercial Sciences. It began with tools like questionnaires and interviews to assess learners’ needs and gaps. Following this, targeted training aimed to improve comprehension of authentic business texts was implemented. The findings highlighted the effectiveness of these materials in fostering learners' interests, achievements, and overall language development.
