Forlorn Hope

Set in an alternate sixteenth-century Europe infused with magic and fantasy races, the story follows Wolfram, a nobleman shunned for his Dark Elvish heritage. Framed for a serious crime within his Free Company, he faces execution or the perilous choice of joining the Forlorn Hope, a unit with minimal survival chances. With only the support of young magician Marshal Gudrun, Wolfram is driven by a fierce determination to prove his innocence and reclaim his honor amidst the chaos of battle and intrigue.
